The cottage is only a few minutes walk along the Coast Road from the Oyster Bar & Restaurant, The Coast Inn and the famous Company Shed. The Company Shed reguarly features in the national newspapers as the place in the UK to enjoy oysters, moules, scallops, tiger prawns, lobster and crab.
Also just a few yards from the cottage in the beach where you can stroll for hours either towards the house boats or towards the beach huts.
In the car you can visit East Mersea – beautiful countryside and more coastal walks.
